Demineralized water (water without minerals) has a broad appliance in the households as well as in the industry. Most appliance of the demineralized water is in the:

• distilleries (for attenuation of alcoholic drinks),

• accumulators, the irons…

     DEMINERALIZATOR is a device that consists of two filter columns, cat ion and anion, with filter filling that removes minerals from the water. Water gained after anion column has 1-5 µS electro conductivity. To gain absolutely clean water with 0-1 µS electro conductivity we must install the third column so-called mixed column (column for fine polish).

     Cat ion and anion column are regenerated after satiation, while in the mixed column there is a replacement of filter filling. Working life of ion exchanger filling of demineralizators is from 3 to 5 years, after which it must be replaced. If drinking water consists of iron, pretreatment must be done.
